When is the best time to workout?

Hey everybody. This is your trainer tip day! We are going to be hosting these each week answering questions that I hear both online and in person. Those of you who are asking questions about your fitness, your food intake, anything that has to do with your wellness journey. I’m Amanda Moore with AMP Fitness. Your fitness journey starts here! Today we are answering “When is the Best Time to Workout?” Every body is different. That means you might feel really good in the morning whereas someone at 8 pm at night feels their best. So we’re just going to talk about the science of it, but I really feel deep in my heart that your best time is what is going to get you to show up. So if that is 8pm after the kids go to bed and that is your alone time for the day and you get to focus on yourself for 30 minutes, that’s your best time. Now they do say that the morning time is good for women especially with your metabolism and your hormones. It gets those engines firing and ready to go and makes you feel more energized. So if morning works for you then get after it. Press play and go and show up to the gym. They do say from 2 to 6 pm at night is good for your body’s peak performance. Now I feel really good lifting weights at that time. My body feels ready to lift heavy and work hard, but I do love running in the morning. I see my best results of my workouts, 5 am at the track. I just fly through those reps. So you really have to find what works for you and your rhythm. So wether its starting fresh and finding a schedule that helps you stick to it, that’s your best time. So my word of advice is to know what your schedule is, figure out your time, experiment with different classes and see how your body feels the next day. If you feel better working out at night or early in the morning or both. We do have all kinds of classes here at AMP Fitness, including Online Coaching that you can do on your time. Check out our socials today to see the schedule! So if you have any questions comment below. We’ll see you soon!
